Waikato Young Professionals (WYP) is a network for early-career individuals across the Waikato region. We bring together people from a range of industries to connect, learn, and support each other through events, mentoring, and professional development. Not at all. Waikato Young Professionals is open to individuals from all industries and career paths. Whether you’re in business, trades, the arts, education, health, tech, or anything in between, you’re welcome here. Bridging the Gap: Understanding the national economy through a local lens
Join us for a special Lunch & Engage panel discussion featuring Dr Anna Breman, Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, as part of her nationwide regional engagement programme. Dr Breman will be joined by local leaders Vanessa Williams (Hamilton Central Business Association), Callum Malcolm (Craigs Investment Partners) for a thought‑provoking conversation on New Zealand’s economic outlook and the challenges and opportunities facing the Waikato region.
Delivered in a relaxed lunch‑and‑learn format, the event includes a facilitated panel discussion, live audience Q&A, and dedicated networking time.
